Tracking and analysis tools

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google").

Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on the user's computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about users' use of the website is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. IP anonymisation has been activated on this website so that the IP address of Google users within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area is shortened beforehand. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. We would therefore like to point out that data processing within the framework of Google Analytics may also take place outside the scope of EU law under certain circumstances.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of the website by users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services to the website operator relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

Google Analytics is used by us only with your consent.

You can also prevent the storage of cookies yourself by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link. The current link is: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Alternatively, you can prevent Google Analytics from capturing your data by clicking on the "Cookie settings" button in the footer of store.pwc.de. By switching off the performance and function cookies, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which prevents Google Analytics from collecting your data on this website in the future.

Link to Social Media

We currently link to the following social media providers: Twitter and LinkedIn.

Once the links are called, your browser may establish a direct connection with the servers of the services mentioned. This means that the information that you have visited our website indirectly (referer) is forwarded to these services.

Inclusion of YouTube

We have included YouTube videos in our online offering that are stored at http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in the "extended data protection mode", i.e. no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data referred to in paragraph 2 be transmitted. We have no influence on this data transfer.

By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the following data is transmitted: See above chapter "Description of data processing on the website/App and legal basis for processing".

This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account you are logged in to or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want your profile to be associated with YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as user profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or for designing its website to meet your needs. Such evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube can be found in the privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Our website contains hyperlinks to websites/services of other providers. When you activate these hyperlinks, you will be redirected from our website directly to the website of the other provider. You can recognize this by the change of the URL. We cannot take any responsibility for the confidential handling of your data on these third-party websites, as we have no influence on whether these companies comply with data protection regulations. Please inform yourself directly on these websites about the handling of your personal data by these companies.
